Tips for caring for your Fifi Chachnil lingerie

Material labels are your allies: each textile has its own specificities, its own delicacies and its own qualities.

Charmeuses, Silk muslins, Laces and Silk satins

They are hand washed in warm water with liquid detergent for delicate fabrics. Colours should be washed separately and air dried. Do not tumble dry.

Angora knit

Your cardigans should only be washed by hand with special wool liquid detergent or baby shampoo. Soak the cardigan for a very short time with the detergent diluted in lukewarm water. Rinse carefully at the same temperature as the washing water and then gently remove excess water. Do not wring.
To dry, let the cardigan lie flat on a towel. Then hang it while it is still slightly damp on a hanger, preferably padded or with rounded ends, so as not to deform the shoulders.

After drying, and for regular maintenance, use a baby hairbrush to restore fluffiness to your cardigan.

Some basic tips

Sort laundry according to care instructions and separate whites, blacks and colours. The temperature on the care label indicates the maximum temperature at which the garment can be washed. If in doubt, always wash your item at a lower temperature. Rinse swimwear in clean water after use to remove any traces of salt or chlorine. Avoid using too much detergent. Do not use fabric detergents that contain bleach or chlorine bleach. Do not tumble dry.
